Again it’s the last couple of verses in this passage that speak to me. Here he is preaching death and destruction and yet (v 38) “early in the morning all the people came to him in the temple to hear him.” The people didn’t shy away when he started preaching scary stuff. Sometimes we need a little hellfire and damnation preaching.
But the best part is, we don’t have to worry about any of that. As long as we’re ready and “preaching that your may have strength to escape all”.
