It’s funny that the things he lists as signs of the end times most of America does not experience. Yet it’s always the Americans for claiming Jesus’s returns just around the corner. Don’t misunderstand me, it is just around the corner, but I don’t think it’s going to happen this year next year. But it may because no man knows the hour.
I love the last couple of verses in this passage but even in death will not be harmed. Because we know that death is just the gateway to better existence.
You will be delivered up even by parents and brothers and relatives and friends, and some of you they will put to death. You will be hated by all for my name’s sake. But not a hair of your head will perish. By your endurance you will gain your lives.
