57:1-13 – I laugh at how ridiculous Israel looks here. However I realized that we do the same thing. In times of relative peace I don’t bother putting my trust in God, but when hard times come the things I put my trust and will just blow away. And I’m left there with no; yelling at the wind.
57:14-21 – If you are righteous and don’t follow after idols God will comfort you. He will build you up if you follow Him. You will have peace and safety with the Lord. But the wicked will not have peace.
58 – If you are fasting for the right reasons, God will give you strength.
